Stagecoaches / Coaches For Sale - White Ash Wagonette - in Plainfield Vermont
Stagecoaches were wagons that had wooden tops and wooden wheels. They had rows of wooden seats that people could sit on or the people could sit on top if they ran out of room inside. Horses would be hooked to the stagecoaches and they would pull it. The coaches were used to carry people from town to town because it was much faster than walking. Stagecoaches could go places that railroads couldn't go. They were used in the 1800's and were an important part of transportation.
