The surrey with the fringe on top has not only a classic look but the ride of a Cadillac! The fenders and dash on the surrey are patent leather and in excellent shape. You won’t find these on all surreys, only the fancy ones. The upholstery is in perfect condition as is the surrey top, the paint is in good condition. There are some checks but it is solid. The original foot rest and buggy whip holder are in the front. The wheels were done by the Amish and they are the flat rubber. This makes a nice quite ride. The bushings are all tight in the wheels to, so it’s a nice straight ride. This unit can be hitched single or with a team. It’s a nice looking unit and made to be used and enjoyed; parades, weddings, special events, you name it. It has a brass plate on the rear axel that says the manufacture was “J. A.
