This show cart was designed and handmade by Mr. Ed Dryden from 1983-1985. Mr. Dryden was renowned for superb workmanship in his restoration of antique horse-drawn vehicles and his work appears in several museums across the country. After many years of restorative work, Mr. Dryden decided that, in most cases, he could build a better vehicle starting from scratch. This show cart is a prime example of that work. It is made entirely of hard wood and forged steel. The wood was bowed with patience in the old style, the cushions were hand stitched with heavy waxed thread and all metal work was hand-hammered straight from the forge as well. This vehicle will surely out-live your grandchildren! Over his years of craftsmanship, Mr. Dryden perfected his production of carriage wheels. None better can be found!
