Beautifully restored Ralli Cart. Stored inside and only used a handful of times since its restoration. Used for pleasure shows, parades and weddings. The Ralli Car is a direct descendant of the dog cart. The main distinguishing feature is that the side panels are designed in such a way that they curve over the wheels to form splash boards. Ralli Cars were built up to and around the turn of the 20th century in comparatively large numbers. The methods of suspension varied considerably. Ralli Cars are suitable for family driving activities as they can seat four people and have adequate space for such items as picnics, a headcollar and spares. This vehicle is hung between elliptic springs and has the shafts running inside the buck. This Ralli Car was imported from London and is marked with Leeds on the axle.
