Droste is a 4-year-old dark bay Hackney gelding with a star and four flashy white stockings. He is 11 hh 2, and a bundle of energy that he is learning to channel into terrific forward gaits. He and Jada competed at the 2006 Villa Louis Carriage Classic. On Saturday, he competed successfully in his first arena class EVER, turnout. And then he won first place in the Small Pony Open Cross Country and second place in the SPO cones. He has been driven regularly since then.
