Description
UPDATED LISTING My step-father purchased this item from a couple in the late 70s who found it in an old barn in Sloatsburg, NY. He had it restored in the 80s by a restoration outfit in Lancaster, PA - no documentation available. On one of the brass hubs, it says: Geneva Wagon Company ~ Geneva, NY. There are no other markings. It is said to be a Tuxedo Jigger, originating around Tuxedo Park, NY. Historical pic at this link: http://www.hrvh.org/cdm4/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=/tpl&CISOPTR=3915&CISOBOX=1&REC=3 Ive attached a few pictures of the carriage, and could provide more easily. Its in very good condition; never used since the restoration. Ive been told that an enclosed coach of this size in this condition would be worth upwards of $20-$25K. I just lowered the price from $16,500 to $10,000. Id just like to see it go to a good home. If youre interested or would like more information or pictures, please dont hesitate.
