For sale an authentic Blue Ribbon Dort Durant carriage. The tag states Blue Ribbon Durant-Dort Carriage Co Flint MI Reg in U.S. Pat off Durant Dort made these carriages in Flint Mich from 1895 - 1917. The carriage was restored in the 80s by Hoosier Buggy Shop out of Topeka with black and tan pinstriping paint and green velvet upholstery. The seats are in good condition with no tears. The paint has a few chips here and there but is still very beautiful.The carriage is in total using / enjoying condition and is complete and even has the original kerosene lanterns for both sides. The top folds down correctly and the top is in good condition with no tears. The wood is all solid and there is no issues with the frame. Wonderful carriage to use in parades, wedding or personal enjoyment. Also included is a 2 horse hitch which is tagged with a Flint Wagon Works Flint MI tag.
