This Classic Surrey was originally built by the Cortland Wagon Company, Cortland, NY, between 1885 and 1889. Over one hundred years later, 1989/90, the current owner completely refurbished this elegant unit, preserving as much of the original as possible. The natural wood finish, elegant pin striping and clear coated for durability makes all eyes take notice. The unique patent leather dashboard and fenders sets off the fringe on top. New wheels with rubber, hydraulic brakes and lights were added for additional road safety. Comes with shafts for single and pole for double. Top can easily be lowered for storage. The past 25 years this Surrey has carried many brides & grooms to and from weddings. It has also served as a prop in several high school productions of ‘Oklahoma’.
