Description
Historically, these handy, lightweight wagons would have been used to transport produce from farm to market. They would have also been used throughout town to transport light goods from the store for delivery to the customer. This wagon was located in the barn on an old farm in Massachusetts. The wagon was purchased from this location in about 1957. In the 1980's the wagon was restored/repainted by the Amish. The wagon moved with the owners to Colorado in 1993 where it is currently. This is a very nicely restored express wagon, repainted and re-lettered to match the original styling and colors. The seat is removable for more cargo room with a drop tail-gate for easy loading of items. The wheels still have the original steel tires. The wagon is set up for a single-horse hitch. The shafts have a step on each side for access to the wagon bed. The only non-original feature on the wagon is a padded cushion on the seat. Shown by appointment, call with any questions,a must see!
